A Pembroke man, already in prison after being convicted for a driving offence this week, appeared in Magistrates’ Court again this morning after he allegedly attacked his wife.

David Hill, 28, pleaded not guilty to unlawfully wounding Samantha Hill on December 16.

On Thursday, in the same court, he admitted a speeding offence and elected to spend 40 days in jail rather than pay a fine.

Hill will be back in court when his current prison sentence ends on January 19.
