A motorcyclist who suffered serious injuries when he hit a kerb on Crow Lane in Pembroke over a week ago has been moved to a general ward.

The 33 year old St George’s man was initially treated in the Intensive Care Unit after the accident in the early hours of November 20.

However a police spokesman this morning confirmed that the man was in a stable condition on a general ward at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.

The investigation into the accident is continuing and any witnesses should contact the Hamilton Police Station on 247-1704.
