It was a quiet day on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, with only two stocks trading. A total of 1,834 shares of Butterfield Bank, and 1,162 shares of Somers Ltd, were exchanged, but with no movement to the respective closing prices.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was unchanged at 2,188.35.

On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up 22 cents, or 0.59 per cent, at $37.59.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 29.36 points, or 1.55 per cent, at 1,867.13.
