Shares of Butterfield Bank were 15 cents higher, or 0.3 per cent, at $46.25 after 1,164 traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

On the New York Stock Exchange the bank’s shares were down 18 cents, or 0.38 per cent, at $46.81.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 6.75 points, or 0.26 per cent, at 2,593.41.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 12.03 points, or 0.62 per cent, at 1,916.36.
