Butterfield Bank shares were up 46 cents, or 1.2 per cent, at $38.94 on the New York Stock Exchange.

There was no change to The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, for a seventh consecutive trading day. It remained at 2,401.92, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 11.21 points, or 0.72 per cent, at 1,563.2.
