Shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd surged 9.1 per cent in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading.The insurer, which last week announced it had acquired two Bermudian medical practices, gained 21 cents on the trading of 45,700 shares.Argus was the only stock on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index, which gained 4.2 points, or 0.24 per cent, to close on 1,788.64.The US-listed shares of Butterfield Bank climbed $1.01, or 4.29 per cent, to close on $24.55 on the New York Stock Exchange as 178,787 shares changed hands.The BSX Insurance Index fell 10.41 points, or 0.75 per cent, to close on 1,382.6.
