Ryan Oliver has failed to make weight for his showdown with home-town favourite Nikki Bascome at the Fairmont Southampton tomorrow.When the pair weighed at the hotel last night, Bascome came in one pound under the catchweight limit of 145 pounds, but Oliver, the naturally bigger man, weighted in two pounds over.After talks between the two camps, it was agreed that the fight will go ahead with Oliver losing ten per cent of his purse, which will be awarded to Bascome. It is understood the fight has been sanctioned as both fighters weighing in at 145 pounds.Oliver has one blemish on his eight-bout record, while Bascome will be looking for his tenth win in his eleventh professional contest.
