Charges were this morning dropped against a man who had been accused of a fight at Cup Match.

Prosecutors offered no evidence against N’Zhari Phillips, 21, at a hearing in Magistrates’ Court and Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo dismissed the charges.

Charges, however, remain against Cameron Clacker, 17, Jomari Gooden, 18, and Zachary Fox, 19, who were also charged with involvement in the fight, which happened on August 4 at St George’s Cricket Club’s Wellington Oval.

Those defendants are expected to return to the Magistrates’ Court later this month.
