Man charged with stealing cash, jewellery

A Warwick man has been charged with using force to steal jewellery and cash in an incident earlier this week.

Bryce Daniels, 22, appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with a single count of robbery using force.

The court heard that the offence allegedly took place in St George’s on Monday, with Mr Daniels allegedly taking $2,000 in jewellery and $2,000 in cash.

Mr Daniels was not required to enter a plea as the matter will be heard by the Supreme Court.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo released the defendant on $8,000 bail.

Mr Tokunbo ordered that Mr Daniels should have no contact with the complainants and report to police three times a week.

The case is due to come beforeSupreme Court on September 1.
