Pembroke man charged with Puckerin murder

A 34-year-old Pembroke man was charged yesterday with the premeditated murder of Perry Puckerin Jr in 2010.

Jeremiah Dill was also accused in Magistrates’ Court of using a firearm to commit an indictable offence.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in Hamilton Parish on January 3, 2010.

Mr Dill did not have to enter a plea because the charges must be heard in Supreme Court.

He was remanded in custody and the case was adjourned to the January arraignments session.

Mr Puckerin, 34, was shot inside the Hamilton Parish Workman’s Club.
