A Sandys man pleaded guilty yesterday to his involvement in a Cup Match fight.
Khalif Williams, 20, was one of several men charged in connection with the fight, which broke out at St George’s Cricket Club on the second day of Cup Match on August 4.
A security officer heard shouting from bleachers at the west end of the cricket club just after 6pm.
The guard investigated and saw a scuffle, with bottles being thrown and spectators fleeing the area.
Police were called and, while reviewing video footage of the fight, saw Williams punching and kicking another man.
Williams is scheduled to return to Magistrates’ Court in February for sentence.
