A Sandys man who admitted stealing $900 from the Somerset Country Squire has been sent to the Drug Treatment Court.
Anthony Tuzo, 42, pleaded guilty to entering a store room at the Sandys bar and restaurant and pub and taking the cash on April 13.
Defence lawyer Peter Farge told the court that his client admitted “that he was on drugs” during a police interview.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe ordered a social inquiry report and a drug assessment.
He referred Tuzo to Drug Treatment Court and released him on bail.
