Man formally denies attempted murder charge

A 20-year-old man has denied a charge of attempted murder in connection with a shooting.

Zachary Fox, 21, pleaded not guilty in Supreme Court to attempting to murder Richard Steede on Happy Valley Road, Pembroke, on November 28.

He also denied an alternative charge that he shot Mr Steede with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and using a firearm. Puisne Judge Charles-Etta Simmons released Mr Fox on bail and adjourned the case to July 23.
