A man has been remanded in custody after he was charged with robbing a 16-year-old boy.

Sherwon Ible, 35, from Devonshire, pleaded not guilty yesterday to taking money and a necklace from the boy and threatening to use force.

Magistrates’ Court heard that the alleged incident happened on August 5 in Devonshire.

Magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until September 16.
