Smith’s man denies sexually assaulting girl
A 28-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to four sex assaults on a girl aged under 14.
The man, from Smith’s, is alleged to have committed the offences on April 8 and 9 in Devonshire.
The defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Magistrates’ Court yesterday to face the charges.
Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe released the man on $10,000 bail and adjourned the case until November 25.
He ordered the man to stay away from his alleged victim and observe a 9pm to 6am curfew.
