Man denies threatening his father

A man who sent death threats to the Premier is alleged to have threatened his father, Magistrates’ Court heard on Monday.Jared Gordon, 30, denied the use of threatening words to his father, Leroy Gordon.Mr Gordon was alleged to have told his father “I will bash your f*****g face” on November 23 in his family home in Sandys.He is due to be sentenced for sending death threats to David Burt after he pleaded guilty on April 15.He admitted threats to decapitate Mr Burt and “put a bullet” in his head were sent by e-mail in 2017 and 2018.Mr Gordon was released on $10,000 bail on August 23 and ordered to live with his family until he was sentenced.Senior magistrate Juan Wolffe remanded Mr Gordon in custody on Monday and adjourned the case involving his father until December 6.• It is The Royal Gazette’s policy not to allow comments on stories regarding court cases.
