Sex offender sentencing delayed
The sentencing of a man who admitted having sex with a 13-year-old girl has been pushed back until Wednesday.
Chez Rogers, 20, was originally scheduled to be sentenced last Friday for charges of unlawful carnal knowledge and luring.
The offences took place between August 1 and October 1 last year, at which time he was 19 and the victim — who cannot be identified for legal reasons — was 13.
Puisne Judge Charles-Etta Simmons said on Friday she would deliver a sentence this morning, but at a brief sitting today she adjourned the sentence until Wednesday morning because of computer issues.
