Two men have been taken to hospital with apparent stab wounds after a fight inside Ambiance Lounge in Hamilton.

The incident happened at about 4.15am, with the area around the Angle Street bar then closed off as police processed the scene.

It is Bermuda’s fourth serious stabbing incident in about two weeks, following the killing of Jahkobi Smith at the West End Sail Boat Club on July 29, a domestic incident in Sandys on August 1 and a stabbing in the Sports Locker, Hamilton, on August 2.

At about 7am, police caution tape was around the entrance to the club, with a handful of officers on the scene and traffic blocked from Court Street to Angle Street. A truck could be seen removing a motorcycle.

A man wearing an Ambiance Lounge shirt directed that all questions be posed to police.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the fight should call Acting Inspector Jason Smith on 717-0864.
