Spate of vandalism on North Shore

A weekend vandal who left a trail of damaged cars outside homes is being hunted by police.

Several cars had their windshields broken in the early hours of Saturday on North Shore, Pembroke.

Residents in the area called police about 4.30am to report a disturbance.

The man, described as a slim black male, aged about 35, with medium length hair and wearing an orange shirt, was reported shouting in the area of North Shore Road and West Park Lane.

He left the scene before police arrived.

As well as damage to cars, a mailbox was smashed and garden items damaged.

A police spokesman said the incident in under investigation and appealed for witnesses.

He added officers also wanted to hear from householders along North Shore Road, West Park Lane and Ridgeway Road with home security cameras.
