Police seek witnesses in Paget stabbing

Detectives investigating an incident that left a bartender in hospital have asked anyone with information about two men on a motorcycle acting suspiciously to contact them.

They said wanted to hear from people who had been targeted by two men on a bike or had information about riders making demands for money, jewellery or other property.

They were speaking after the 43-year-old bar worker suffered stab wounds in an alleged attack on Harbour Road, Paget near the junction with Valley Road in the early hours of last Tuesday.

Police said inquiries into the Paget incident continued and asked anyone who may have seen two men on a motorcycle acting oddly and approaching other road users to contact them.

Anyone with information which could help the inquiry should contact Detective Sergeant Jason Smith on 247-1218 or 717-0864.

Anonymous calls and tips can also be made through the independent and confidential Crime Stoppers hotline on 800-8477 or at www.crimestoppers.bm.
