Police make arrest after shooting incidents

Shooting scene: police investigate after a firearms incident in Pembroke

A suspect was arrested last night after two separate shooting incidents just minutes apart.

The first took place in Warwick at about 7.45pm.

A spokesman with the Bermuda Police Service said that two men riding on a motorcycle shot at a residence on St Mary’s Road. No one was injured.

The second incident took place in Pembroke about 20 minutes later when two men on a motorcycle opened fire on a male walking on Happy Valley Road. The spokesman said that it was unclear if the events were related.
