Arrests made after fight at BAA

Two men were arrested after a fight among a group of men at the Bermuda Athletic Association on Saturday night.

A police officer was conducting a liquor licence check at the venue when a scuffle broke out between a group of men at the front of the clubhouse at about 10pm.

Other officers attended the premises on Woodlands Road, Pembroke, to assist in defusing the situation. Two men, aged 24 and 31, were arrested in connection with the incident.

The older man remained in police custody yesterday, while the younger man has been released on police bail pending further inquiries.

Witnesses should call police on 295-0011.
