A strong field of riders converged on Hamilton to compete in a criterium race organised by Bermuda Junior Cycling.

The top category race was won by Kaden Hopkins who was part of a four-man breakaway that also included Conor White, Nicholas Narraway and Alexander Miller. The four broke from the pack early in the 27 lap race and built a lead that eventually was an entire lap ahead of the chasers. Hopkins out-sprinted his fellow escapees on the final stretch to the finish in front of the flagpole on Front Street.

Teen Cameron Morris took the win in the C category ahead of Ricky Smith and Tracy Wright.

The youth race included 17 competitors for a 15 minute event which ended in a rain shower. Leading home the group was Jackson Langley followed by Jessica Allett and Mark Piney. Many of the youth competitors had just completed a week-long camp lead by Gabriella Arnold and they demonstrated the skills that they had acquired and honed burins the five days of cycling.
