Traffic to the West End came to a temporary halt yesterday after truck lost one of its rear wheels near Barnes Corner, Southampton.

According to a police spokesman, the Hunt’s Sanitation Services truck was left immobile on Middle Road at about 1.40pm.

Traffic was delayed until the truck could be moved. There were no other vehicles involved, and no injuries.
