Graduation Day at The Berkeley Institute

The Berkeley Institute’s Class of 2018 graduated yesterday.

A big crowd at Heritage Worship Centre saw 131 pupils celebrate the end of high school.

Fifty-two of them will continue their education in the United States, Britain or Canada, 41 will attend Bermuda College and another will start a degree online.

Ten will enter the workforce, while two will attend the global United World College programme and two will travel with the philanthropic Up With People organisation.

In addition, five students graduated with an associates degree and a further six with an applied technology certificate.

Another seven completed the certified nursing assistant programme at Bermuda College.

Antione Jones was awarded the Bank of Bermuda Foundation Joseph C.H. Johnson Scholarship, while Hewitt Taylor was named Teacher of the Year.
