The Bermuda Botanical Society scholarship was awarded to Amber Reid who received $3,000. She is attending Northeastern University in Boston and is in her fourth year studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science. She is a past recipient of this award.

As Amber has already returned to the USA, so her mother received the scholarship on her behalf. The presentation was held at City Hall on Friday October 5th 2018. Scholarship Chairman Peter Lee, Scholarship committee member George Peterich and the recipients mother Lisa Reid was in attendance.
