The Minister of Education, the Hon. Diallo Rabain recently hosted a Chat and Chew with students participating in the Dual Enrolment Programme at the Bermuda College. The Dual Enrolment Programme provides public school students at the S3 and S4 level with the opportunity to obtain associate’s degrees from the Bermuda College while simultaneously completing their Bermuda School Diploma (BSD) Programme.During the Chat and Chew, the Minister was able to gain valuable feedback from some of the students participating in the Dual Enrolment Programme about their experiences. The Minister said, “It is always nice to hear firsthand how the programmes we implement impact and help the students who take advantage of them. It was my pleasure to sit with these students and have meaningful conversations about not only the programme but their future goals and aspirations as well.” Minister Rabain is keen to host similar Chat and Chew’s for various groups of select students in the coming months. • Press release from the Ministry of Education
