Riding her 10-year-old stallion, Joyero VG, Bermuda’s Annabelle Collins has qualified for the FEI 2018 World Equestrian Games, to be held at the Tryon International Equestrian Center, in Mill Spring, North Carolina from September 11th to the 23rd.
The World Equestrian Games are held every four years and to qualify for this event, it is necessary to secure two qualifying scores of at least 66 per cent.
Collins and Joyero secured qualifying scores of 68.45 per cent at Toledo and 67.935 per cent at Segovia.
Dressage rider Collins previously represented Bermuda at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Collins and her husband, Agusti Elias, operate an equestrian training facility near Barcelona, Spain.
