Moon Walk to support hospice

First Prev 1 2 Next Last

Friends of Hospice is to hold its second Memorial Moon Walk next week in support of Bermuda’s only care home for the terminally ill.

Walkers will be able to remember their loved ones under a blue moon, the second full moon in a month — as they stroll along Horseshoe Bay Beach.

Nicky Gurret, one of the organisers, said: “This is a wonderful walk in the moonlight on the beach to reflect on the lives of one’s loved ones who have passed and to support Agape House.”

The walk will be held on Wednesday. It will start at Chaplin Bay Beach and take participants to the end of Horseshoe Bay Beach and back.

Walkers should arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Parking will be at Chaplin Bay car park or on South Road.

Registration will begin at 6pm at a cost of $5 per walker.
