Liz and Tracy (Open Airways asthma nurses) are popping-up in Washington Mall from 11am to 2pm every Friday through to end of November.Do you have good control of your asthma? Are you wheezing, coughing, or waking at night with your asthma? Are you using your blue relief inhaler more than twice a week? Have you been to the emergency room this year for a flare up of your asthma? Asthma is very common in Bermuda affecting about 8000 people (1in 5 children and 1 in 10 adults) Based on a survey carried our earlier this year by Open Airways we know that many people with asthma do not have good control and are accepting a life with asthma symptoms, they feel it is normal to use their blue relief inhaler regularly.
