Delta flight brings latest Covid-19 case

A single case of the coronavirus was reported on Saturday, the Ministry of Health said.A ministry spokeswoman said the case arrived on Friday’s Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta and was among 774 test results that came back yesterday. The rest were clear.The news meant the island has logged 158 confirmed cases. Five active cases are being monitored by public health officials, but none of the victims are in hospital.The number of people who have recovered total 114 and nine people have died. The average age of all confirmed positive cases is 59 and the age range of cases is from 18 to 101.A total of 54 cases came in from overseas, 85 are were on-island transmissions with a known contact, and 19 were on-island transmission with an unknown contact.Bermuda’s country status is “sporadic cases”.The seven-day average of the real-time reproduction number is less than 1.
