Dear Sir,

I am writing to say that me and my son recently visited the island from Scotland.

My son was born in Bermuda and we were lucky enough to be invited along to watch the Bermuda Regiment, as my son plays in a silver band in Scotland and is so passionate about music. Major Dwight Robinson made us feel so welcome and introduced us to band members and let my nine-year-old son play some of the instruments.

We then went along to watch the Beating of the Retreat at Harbour Nights and it was a first-class performance. Bermuda should be very proud of the regiment; they are excellent ambassadors for the island.

They are all very nice people.

They were the highlight of my son’s time there.
