The following is a letter to the international business partners of Bermuda in regards to securing our financial state of affairs.

We recognise that the previous administration of the One Bermuda Alliance followed in the footprints of the United Bermuda Party in the ideals of discouraging all of you as financial partners to avoid strengthening our financial coffers, thus maintaining a sustainable level of self-preservation.

This shortfall has denied our ability to fund our basic requirements in regards to our citizens, our physical needs and our infrastructure.

In light of this negative onslaught, we appeal to you both as individuals and as a corporate body proper to withhold your payroll taxes and redesign your tax base by considering contributions of 0.5 per cent to 1 per cent of your overall profit margin.

This does not have to be a public knowledge bump, but it would create a stable rock for our present and future sustenance.

The ideals of your unbridled wealth growth are noted, but likewise is the financial input that you as international business partners can forge with us to amend an unhealthy atmosphere or even a future financial hurricane.
