Dear Sir,

It’s Christmas time, that wonderful time of year when we treat each other with civility and good, old-fashioned Bermudian warmth.

It’s a time when families celebrate together, when we remember those we’ve lost and are comforted by new friendships made during the year.

For this Christmas season, and maybe beyond, let’s not think of things in terms of black and white. Let’s think in terms of red and green, and of the joy the season brings us.

So, to all my fellow Bermudians and those visiting our beautiful island, merry Christmas and good wishes for a happy, healthy and peaceful new year.
