I am writing in response to the letter published on January 14, when a writer told of his friend’s mother’s care on a ward and in Emergency.

We are very concerned about what was experienced, and ask that the friend of the writer contact our Quality and Risk Department.

Unfortunately, without the patient information, we cannot investigate what happened and identify improvements to our service.
