Make this shrill noise go away

Letter to the Editor

Dear Sir,

The peace of St George is being shattered regularly by kite flyers. These kites fly for hours with their hummers wailing and shrieking above the town, even spoiling the peace of the Sabbath.

Apparently this happens in the Warwick area, too.

It is widely believed they signal that drugs are available. If this is the case, surely the police can close them down. If it is just folks having fun, then we really need some noise-pollution legislation.
