Night-time kite flying menace

Dear Sir,

Over the past three years since 2016, there have been several people posting complaints in the Letters to the Editor section of The Royal Gazette about the habit of people flying their kites through the night.

Well, this morning, May 25, 2019, at 5.30am, I go and take the dogs out to my backyard and I hear this kite shrieking in the wind.

I live in Pembroke and this person is always constantly flying their kite whenever possible on a windy, sunny day, tied up to a fence flying at all hours of the day and into the night.

There should be a time limit when they want to fly their kites until the sun goes down.

Then take your kite down. If they do not, take them down, they should get a fine.

Please make this shrieking noise go away.
