Dear Sir,

This letter is addressed to all of our customers, vendors, friends and neighbours, whom I collectively and fondly refer to as our Howzat community.

We experienced some trauma on Sunday, June 16, when there was an attempted robbery at our shop.

Thankfully, we were able to thwart the robbery. Abrasions and bruises aside, we are grateful that there were no further conflicts or injuries.

We are amazed at the care and thoughtfulness that the Howzat community have extended to us. The calls and visits to offer support and goodwill have been extraordinary.

We would like to thank each of you for your concern and kindness.

You are the Bermuda we know and love!
