Kimberly Lawrence believes that Bermudians are becoming more opened minded to different forms of spiritual practices and beliefs other than religion.

After taking a leap of faith and launching her home business, Zen Crystals Bda last year, entrepreneur Mrs Lawrence has seen a major increase in curious customers wanting to know about the crystals and how they are used.

“People from all backgrounds, ethnicities, ages and walks of life have come to me with interest in the crystals,” she said.

“I believe that people are expanding their minds for growth in different forms of spirituality other than sticking with only religion.”

Zen Crystals Bda, which is based on Chaingate Hill Devonshire, has gained in popularity and has started to set up as a vendor at local events.

“We set up our first vendor at Bermuda’s Pow Wow event this year,” Mrs Lawrence said.

In addition to the vendors, customers are requesting Mrs Lawrence to hosts parties, girls night out events and more.

Among new opportunities arriving, Mrs Lawrence was approached with the idea to start teaching classes, which will help people understand more about the crystals and their properties.

Mrs Lawrence takes pride in her passion and makes sure that she provides the best quality to her customers.

“We are told that our crystals differ from others because of the vibrational energy customers get from them, compared to others,” she said. “I make sure once my crystals arrive I cleanse them from any negative elements or vibrations.”

Mrs Lawrence is still selling the crystals from home believes it will be necessary to expand to a location in the future as demands increase.

Opening hours are Saturday from 12pm to 5pm, but flexible weekday evenings.
