The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce and KPMG in Bermuda will host a webinar on the recovery and what the “new normal” will mean for businesses.The webinar will take place on May 27, from 12 noon to 1:15pm, and is open to both members and non-members. Joining the discussion will be Stephen Beatty, global chairman, infrastructure and head, Global Cities Centre of Excellence, KPMG International; Rohitesh Dhawan, managing director, energy, climate and resources, Eurasia Group, and Sophie Heading, global geopolitics lead, global clients and markets, KPMG International.Dennis Fagundo, Chamber of Commerce president and member of finance minister Curtis Dickinson’s Economic Advisory Committee, has been added to the panel for the event.The webinar will include an interactive discussion about the challenges facing businesses and the way forward. Kendaree Burgess, chief executive officer of the Chamber of Commerce, said the webinar was being held in place of the body’s annual general luncheon. “As Bermuda continues to move forward we are challenged with creating the types of industries that will reflect the new normal,” Ms Burgess said. “This webinar will provide a glimpse into what some of those possibilities might be.” Omar Raza, senior executive of global infrastructure at KPMG, said: “Speed will be critical.
