Cheque it out: staff from AIG and representatives from the four charities, Salvation Army, Eliza DoLittle Society, Meals on Wheels and the LCCA, who each received $7,000

Staff at AIG have handed out thousands of dollars to four local charities.

Employees chose the Eliza DoLittle Society, the LCCA, Meals on Wheels and the Salvation Army for the company’s 2017 Charitable Giving, receiving each $7000.

“AIG is happy to support these charities whose outreach supports the most needy citizens of Bermuda,” said a spokeswomen.

“The money is allocated in the AIG budget each year and the staff are then asked for their recommendations as to which charities should receive this money.”

The cheque presentation took place in the AIG Boardroom.
