A Zumba master class held at gym The Athletic Club is to raise funds to improve the environment.

Elizabeth Lira, organiser of the event, said the money will be donated to charity Keep Bermuda Beautiful.

She explained: “We see how beautiful Bermuda beaches are, how can they be damaged, the impact that this damage can have for all of us and we want to help to take care of them.”

Anne Hyde, executive director of KBB, attended the Zumba class to talk about the charity’s work.

The class will be held at RumBum Beach Bar at Horseshoe Bay on Saturday from 5pm to 7pm.

Tickets cost $20 and can be bought at the entrance to the bar.
