The Bermuda Police Service celebrates the achievement of Cadet Alnique Young-Looby, who entered and won the 2019 Relay for Life of Bermuda song competition.

The competition required persons entering to record a song that Relay for Life could use as their theme song.

Cadet Young-Looby, a singer and aspiring songwriter, recently lost her grandfather to cancer and collaborated with her vocal coach in writing the winning song.

She performed the song live on stage at the Relay for Life opening ceremony, which was held Friday, May 17th on the North Field of the Bermuda National Sports Centre.

Commissioner of Police Stephen Corbishley said: “I am thrilled for Cadet Young-Looby and offer my hearty congratulations on her success.”
