The Bermuda Public Services Union has become the sole bargaining body for three more organisations.

Jason Hayward, the president of the BPSU, said the Bermuda Airport Authority, the Pension Commission and Teen Services/Teen Haven would now come under the BPSU umbrella.

Mr Hayward added: “With the addition of these recent certifications, the BPSU now proudly represents 29 bargaining units.

“These bargaining units span both the public and private sector and includes a diverse cross section of industries throughout Bermuda’s economy.”

Mr Hayward said he welcomed the workers’ decision to secure representation and that the BPSU forward to the creation of strong partnerships with management to the mutual benefit of workers and employers.
