Marine art cup up for grabs
A silver trophy is up for grabs in a marine art competition organised by the Bermuda Society of Arts.
The winner will claim the Sergeant’s Cup for Marine Art, which was originally given to St Peter’s Church for its 400th anniversary by the Sergeant of the Vestry of the Chapel Royal.
The exhibition, which is co-ordinated and financed by The Friends of St Peter’s Church, will take place from September 6 to October 2.
All entries must be delivered to City Hall in Hamilton on September 4, between 1pm and 4pm.
Prize giving will take place on September 6 and will include three cash prizes as well as the Sergeant’s Cup.
Andrew Stevenson and Michael Cacy are past winners of the competition, which has also been held at the Masterworks Art Museum in Paget and the Dockyard Art Centre.
