The City of Hamilton announces that applications are now being received for the City Christmas Window Decorating Contest. City retailers are encouraged to get into the spirit of the season and design award-winning Christmas windows for the delight of shoppers. Retailers must submit their application by 5:00pm on November 8th to be included in the judging. A panel of seasoned specialists will judge the overall Best Christmas Window and a special People’s Choice Award will see the public vote for their favourite via FaceBook LIKES. Contest Windows must be completed by November 29th at 12:00pm and the judging period will run from December 2nd – 13th with the winners being announced on December 13th.The winner of the Best Christmas Window will receive a $1,000.00 BELCO voucher, a special advertising opportunity as well as bragging rights and the People’s Choice Award winner will receive a $350.00 Master’s Gift Certificate. All photos will be shared throughout the judging period on the City’s social platforms.Interested retailers can apply online.
