The Baha’is of St George’s presented mayor George Dowling with a Bermuda tree sapling to mark the 200th anniversary of the Birth of the Bab.The group also presented Mr Dowling with the book Earthly Paradise which traces houses of worship of the world’s major religions.The mayor stated that he was delighted to share “this momentous occasion” with the Baha’is of the East End.The presentation took place in the town hall on Tuesday.
