Free fintech course open for students

A free course on blockchain and fintech business is on offer from the Government’s fintech business unit.

The course, run with expert group BermudaChain, will be made up of seven sessions from tomorrow until November 26 and will end with an examination.

Alex Marshall, the founder of BermudaChain, said people who complete the course will get a certificate that “should help put them ahead of the pack when it comes to being certified in blockchain for future potential job offerings with fintech companies that look to recruit locally”.

Mr Marshall, who is also a recording artist, said his work with fintech companies in Bermuda included Shyft and Core. Live.

Thirty spaces are available for the course, which will be held at technology firm ConnecTech on Cedar Avenue in Hamilton.
