Kathy Lynn Simmons, JP invites you to join Mirrors, in partnership with Berkeley Institute PTSA, for a discussion with Professor Alfred “Coach” Powell on raising and engaging our children to successfully navigate the real issues of society that have a direct impact on the quality of their lives. It is a life or death discussion that must occur to save our children.Alfred “Coach” Powell is an internationally recognized award winning keynote speaker, lecturer and an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor at the School of Social Welfare Health Sciences, State University of New York at Stony Brook. His groundbreaking research into street culture, the marketing of violence, irresponsible sex, and chemical addiction to urban youth, and his 30+ years of work in the trenches as a champion high school track/football coach and certified violence prevention specialist have earned him the title “Dean of Street Psychology.” Minister Simmons stated “There is never a boring moment in a “Coach” Powell presentation.
