Dear Sir,

My condolences to the family of Reginald Burrows. He was a unique politician in so far as he showed respect to all and sundry in spite of the difficulties he encountered in Bermuda.

As a consequence of the respect he showed people, he got respect from everyone. This is a lesson a lot of our politicians could learn if they emulated what Mr Burrows did and stood for.

As many others have already stated, Bermuda has lost one of her outstanding sons, and is the poorer for it.
